Not Your Grandmothers Tea Party
Guests were invited to join a small group of ceramic artists at an exclusive event, a late afternoon high tea party, held at a charming restaurant. What made this tea party different is that each guest picked out a tea bowl, cup or mug on the way to their table. After using it for the tea, our guests took their choice home with them to enjoy for years to come. All tea cups, bowls and mugs are made by the Covert Potters for the event. They also made tea pots to serve the tea with. Amy's Patio Cafe created an exclusive menu for the event. During the party the artists visited with the guests as they enjoyed their flavorful tea (or coffee), beautiful cups and delicious food.
